Northeastern Global News featured SCCRUB (Surface Cleaning Compliant Robot Utilizing Bristles), a trunk-like arm built from TRUNC cells. It removed 99.7% of burnt ketchup from a glass plate, compared with 32% for soaking and rinsing by hand. The paper appears at IEEE RoboSoft 2026.
